Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Product Designer to join our team. As a Staff Product Designer, you will be responsible for executing user experience-focused design initiatives in our delivery application, using and evolving our Design System to achieve consistent and scalable solutions for the entire consumer app.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design projects from conception to implementation, focusing on high-quality, user-centered solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with business partners, product managers, and engineering teams to define problems, propose solutions, and drive design decisions.
  • Deliver an effective design systems approach to ensure product consistency and excellence.
  • Partner with UX Research discipline to conduct user research and usability studies, integrating insights into actionable design improvements.
  • With an experimentation mindset, prototype solutions and engage with customers to validate and refine design choices.
  • Define the success metrics on the design and product side, maintaining high quality standards within the team.
  • Stay close to the product strategy to contribute to and influence it.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive design specifications to engineering teams, ensuring flawless execution.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience working in high-performance design teams at scale.
  • Experience working on complex, multi-sided products generally, and consumer-specific products.
  • Self-motivated and able to drive projects independently with little direction.
  • Strong ability to build relationships and manage stakeholders with at least director-level executives.
  • Fluent in Spanish and either English or Portuguese.
