About the Role

In this part-time Junior Accountant position, you will play a critical role in supporting our accounting team's day-to-day activities. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Accurate Record-Keeping

    - Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
    - Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and promptly.

  2. Reconciliation and Reporting

    - Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
    - Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and reports.

  3. Vendor and Customer Relations

    - Manage vendor and customer relationships, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
    - Track and follow up on outstanding payments.

  4. Additional Tasks

    - Support the team with ad hoc financial tasks and projects as needed.
    - Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Requirements

  1. Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Prior experience in accounting or bookkeeping (1 year or more).
  3. Technical Skills: Experience with Quickbooks (minimum 6 months).
  4. Language Skills: Fluent in English (written and spoken) is required.
  5. Soft Skills:
