Position Overview: Software System Developer

As a Software System Developer, you will collaborate with a team of skilled engineers in a dynamic and agile setting. The software you create will interface with a multitude of systems and is utilized by top broadcast and telecom organizations globally. Your role will involve establishing connections between users and services, aiming to simplify the orchestration of intricate technological ecosystems.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop back-end applications for high-performance system integrations.
  • Create front-end interfaces for specific system integrations.
  • Collaborate with team members to assess client requirements and deliver top-notch solutions, focusing on customer priorities.
  • Specialize in one or more products or technology domains based on your interests and strengths.
  • Evolve as a technology expert and share your expertise through coaching and training.
  • Implement agile methodologies and leverage its iterative process to achieve Minimum Viable Products (MVP).

Required Skills:

Your coding proficiency is essential, but let's delve into the specific technical skills necessary for the Software System Developer role.

  • Proficient in C# and the .Net Framework.
  • Familiarity with markup languages (e.g., XML).
  • Understanding of communication protocols such as SNMP, HTTP, or serial.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, multithreading, Web Services (REST, SOAP), and JSON is advantageous.
  • Experience with databases (e.g., MySQL, Apache Cassandra) and Microsoft Visio is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of the telecom and broadcast sectors is beneficial (e.g., HFC broadband, IPTV, broadcast, cable, satellite systems).
