About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Processes Principal Consultant to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in helping our international customers achieve their business goals by analyzing and implementing SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Business Processes Principal Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing SAP solutions for our international customers and presenting the results of your findings and recommendations to IT managers and executives.
  • Providing guidance and support across all SAP Activate phases, including Define, Explore, Realize, Deploy, and Run.
  • Conducting interviews to understand business processes design and providing recommendations to stick to SAP Best Practices.
  • Proposing recommendations to optimize and improve business processes in the Deploy phase.
  • Supporting customers to address issues reported during the Run phase.
  • Supporting business processes continuous improvement once the customer is operating SAP S/4HANA.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 8 years of SAP Finance and/or other SAP Finance product experience.
  • SAP Finance experience in the core finance and controlling modules and other SAP Finance areas such as Treasury, Real Estate, BRIM, Consolidation, etc.
  • Mandatory S/4HANA implementation experience.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Architect doing S/4HANA transition roadmap definitions and application architecture design.
  • Desirable experience in system conversion projects (brownfield) from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.
  • ABAP optimization highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in mathematics, science, or engineering.
  • Experience in one or more programming languages (e.g. ABAP, Java, C++).
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of customers and management, both internal and external.

Language Skills:

The candidate should be fluent in Spanish and proficient in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.

Location:

The role is based in Bogota, Colombia, with occasional travel required.

Expected Travel:

0 - 30% travel is expected for this role.
