Job Description

Role

- Functional Responsibility / Domain Related

- Support global credit Analyst(s) in analyzing the performance of a portfolio of structured finance and public finance transactions, and in responding to credit events

- Prepare internal credit research reports and notes. Assist in preparing publishable credit reports.

- Reading and understanding of transaction documents, Legal documents such as Offering Circular, Indenture etc. to understand the structure and features of the deals.

- Track and understand Structured Finance & US Public Finance (USPF) sector dynamics and regulatory trends including but not limited to:

- Analysis of macroeconomic parameters impacting the sector.

- Impact of regulatory and legal framework with risk to sector portfolio.

- Qualitative & quantitative analysis of primary and secondary market debt portfolio.

Process Adherence

- Focus on review / QC, adding analytical inputs when required

- Adopt the defined processes in day-to-day execution of assignments

- Identify process improvement avenues and identify value added work

- Ensure that new knowledge gained is retained and documented through operating manuals

- Strictly practice and follow all Compliance, Confidentiality, and Information Security Policies, Procedures and Guidelines of the Organization.

Client Management / Stakeholder Management

- Build and maintain relationships with US clients

- Set expectations with clients regarding scope of work, timelines, etc. for routine tasks

- Provide analytical mentoring to junior members of the team

- Implement team-level initiatives

- Familiarize new recruits to the team and organization

Essential Qualifications

Ø Two years full-time MBA (Finance) or equivalent. Legal background would be a good to have.
