Senior Supply Chain Consultant – Bogotá, D.C., Colombia
Join Miebach Bogota as a Senior Supply Chain Consultant to expand our offices in Bogotá.
Responsibilities
- Work with clients and lead an internal team to understand business requirements, identify data requirements, and formulate strategies.
- Develop network structure for a company evaluating cost, service, and flexibility, determine optimal site location, inventory levels, and transportation lanes.
- Support Business Development initiatives by designing a facility that coordinates Operations, IT Systems, Safety, and Quality; determine layout and workflow processes.
- Facilitate sourcing of logistics services and material handling equipment, evaluate providers, and provide an unbiased cost‑benefit analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering (preferable) and a Master in Supply Chain Management; 4‑6 years of relevant supply‑chain consultancy experience required.
- Fluent in Spanish and English; German highly valued.
- Knowledge of common logistics standard processes and IT systems.
- Advanced skills with the MS Office suite, especially Excel and ideally Access and PowerPoint, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a team‑player mindset.
