About The Role
We are seeking a Business Consultant to help small businesses secure loans ranging from $50,000 to $5,000,000 and support their growth. You will guide clients through the loan process and ensure compliance with economic development contracts. This role is perfect for a finance-savvy professional passionate about helping businesses succeed.
Responsibilities
- Loan Packaging and underwriting.
- Collect and organize all business documentation, such as tax returns, credit reports, bank statements, etc.
- Evaluate borrowers' financial health by reviewing tax return financial statements, credit reports, and business documents.
- Oversee the underwriting process for business loans and liaise between the borrower and various lending partners.
- Collaborate with small business owners to assess financial needs, determine the best loan structure, and make financial projections as needed.
- Constant communication with clients via email, text messages, and phone calls.
Requirements
- Significant training will be provided on business lending.
- Financial analysis.
- Read and interpret Profit and Loss & Balance Sheet Statements.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience with SBA lending and loan packaging is a plus.
