About the Role:

We are seeking a Business Consultant to help small businesses secure loans ranging from $50,000 to $5,000,000 and support their growth. You will guide clients through the loan process and ensure compliance with economic development contracts. This role is perfect for a finance-savvy professional passionate about helping businesses succeed.

Responsibilities:

1. Loan packaging and underwriting.
2. Collect and organize all business documentation, such as tax returns, credit reports, bank statements, etc.
3. Evaluate borrowers' financial health by reviewing tax return financial statements, credit reports, and business documents.
4. Oversee the underwriting process for business loans and liaise between the borrower and various lending partners.
5. Collaborate with small business owners to assess financial needs, determine the best loan structure, and make financial projections as needed.
6. Constant communication with clients via email, text messages, and phone calls.

Requirements:

1. Significant training will be provided on business lending.
2. Financial analysis.
3. Read and interpret Profit and Loss & Balance Sheet Statements.
4. Bilingual in English and Spanish.
5. Experience with SBA lending and loan packaging is a plus.
