We are committed to creating an environment where every team member feels inspired, invested, cared for, valued, and have a strong sense of belonging.What You Can ExpectAs part of a regional payroll team based in Bogotá's Global Business Services (GBS) center, this role is responsible for the effective execution of payroll operations for assigned entities and countries, with a primary focus on Colombia and Latin America.
It supports accurate payroll time and data collection, review, calculations, and disbursements while ensuring compliance with local regulations and the confidentiality and integrity of payroll reporting.This role partners with third-party providers to ensure optimal vendor performance, driving standardization and efficient processes across multiple countries.
Additionally, it collaborates with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain trusted partnerships, ensuring payroll operations align with business needs across the region.How You'll Create ImpactApply specialist knowledge and skills required to support end-to-end payroll activities such as the collection, review, analysis and balancing controls of full-cycle payroll related data sources for all levels of the organization, across all locations and across multiple time zones.Maintain T & A systems in accordance with company policy and statutory requirements.Support equity processing, cross-border payments and fringe benefits, secondments, and shadow payrolls in accordance with multi-jurisdiction tax regulations.Close collaboration with third party providers, local authorities related to reporting and filing of declarations, certifications, and ability to discern complicated instructions.Support Tier 3 payroll inquiries, navigate complex situations by recognizing problematic areas, and take ownership of communications through timely resolution.Continuous evaluation, improvement, and maintenance of existing work processes by implementing lean methodology to ensure most effective use of resources and drive operation excellence.Build and nurture strong working relationships with all levels across the organization, 3rd party providers, and others to resolve issues and drive process improvements.Assist with testing new payroll earnings, deductions, accruals, and other new programs in test environment.
Establish and actively support proper governance of payroll data, time and attendance, record keeping and internal controls to ensure an audit-ready environment.Provide business continuity training for team members and ensure documentation is clear, accessible and audit ready.Support internal and external audits, as well as annual SOC reviews of third-party vendors.
What Makes You Stand OutStrong knowledge of statutory employment rules applying to payroll transactions Ability to work independently, coordinate multiple large projects through planning, prioritizing, and multi-tasking in a faced-paced environment.Ability to influence and leverage a customer centric approach to building and maintaining relationships.Initiative, self-starter and process-driven with high level of attention to details.Good organizational and problem-solving skills.Good Communication skills (oral and written), interpersonal and collaboration skillsGood skills with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and systems requiredYour BackgroundEnglish proficiency: B2+ required.Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience:8+ years of payroll accounting experience, with a strong focus on Colombian payroll, including hands-on payroll settlement and execution and deep knowledge of local labor laws.Preferably experienced in managing payroll for organizations with 500+ employees.Regional experience handling payroll across multiple Latin American countries.Exposure to North America payroll (U.S. & Canada) is highly desirable, as the role is primarily focused on Colombia & LATAM, with potential support to North America operations.Working experience with ADP payroll solutions, including ADP GlobalView or SAP Payroll.Working experience with SuccessFactors EC, integrations to multiple payroll platforms such as ADP GlobalView or SAP Payroll, is preferred.Experience in Global Business Services (GBS) or Shared Services Center (SSC) environments is preferred, with a strong understanding of standardized payroll operations, process optimization, and service delivery models.Payroll certifications such as FPC, CPP, CIPP, or similar are preferred.Kindly ensure your resume is in English when applying, as applications in other languages cannot be considered.Travel ExpectationsEOE/M/F/Vet/Disability
