Senior Account Executive

Our department focuses on customer relationships and retail field sales in North LATAM.
We acquire new customers, develop existing relationships, upsell, and manage renewals.
Summary of the Role: The Senior Account Executive will support Amadeus' strategy to become a leading travel platform and ecosystem player.
This role will significantly increase the sales of our IT and non-GDS solutions to medium and large Travel Agencies in Colombia.
You will build strong relationships with Amadeus customers and support them in operational activities.
This role contributes to the overall strategy of the unit and represents the Amadeus brand and values in the industry and beyond.
You will manage complex internal and external relationships, creating commercial opportunities and partnerships.
In This Role, You Will: Grow market share and sales of assigned accounts, and retain the existing customer base.
Business Development: Promote the Amadeus value proposition.
Identify new business opportunities, manage the customer pipeline, and contribute to revenue diversification.
Assess customer needs and objectives to build partnership opportunities.
Commercial Responsibility: Manage all commercial activities for assigned accounts, including sales, account management, and partnerships with the CSM & Presales team.
Develop and maintain customer opportunities pipeline.
About the Ideal Candidate: Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience in the travel industry, with a focus on large IT deals and key accounts.
Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, charts, macros, data validation, sorting, grouping, copying, moving worksheets, formulas, and functions).
Effective sales execution skills and a proven track record.
Experience selling at the C-level and successfully negotiating deals.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Professional presence and excellent communication skills.
Credibility in the travel industry.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a customer service focus.
Familiarity with travel products and services is a plus.
Knowledge of travel distribution business models.
Financial and legal knowledge is advantageous.
Strong consultative, communication, and negotiation skills.
