Why you'll love this jobThe payroll analyst will report directly to the DSA accounting coordinator and is responsible for preparing the payroll for AA and DSA, assuring accuracy of payments and executing according to internal policies and governmental procedures.What you'll doWork multiple projects simultaneously, setting deadlines and adjusting prioritiesWork closely with all stationsPresent results and follow-through to completion for all initiativesSupport the day-to-day oversight of the Disbursements and Banking activitiesPrepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, bank reconciliations and associated journal entriesOversee month-end AP close and ensure it is processed accuratelyAssist and/or complete miscellaneous ad hoc projects as assignedMeet accounting goals and deadlinesReview and be familiar with accounting policies and procedures, and auditing proceduresMaintain and respect confidentiality at all times and ensure adherence to the Company's Confidentiality PolicyActively participate in regular coaching & counselling meetings, performance reviews and development meetingsComplete appropriate training as agreed with their manager and take responsibility for self-developmentComplete any tasks assigned consistently with the positionAll you'll need for successMinimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience Public Accounting University degree or equivalent experienceAt least 2 years work experience in accountingFluent in verbal and written EnglishAbility to work flexible hours when requiredDemonstrated excellent qualitative and quantitative analytical skillsProficient with PC and Microsoft Office software (e.g., Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint)Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasksAbility to deal with confidential subject matterSelf-motivated with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks with minimal supervisionPreferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience Additional studies in taxes and local reporting requirementsSAP knowledgeWhat you'll getFeel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer:
