Summary of the Role: An Information Security Analyst is an active member of the SOC (Security Operations Center) who will support the Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) by providing First Response Service (FRS/L1) and participating in the investigations of cybersecurity threats targeting the travel industry.
The position requires a high level of vigilance, quick decision-making, and the ability to work under pressure to protect the organization from cyber threats.
In This Role You'll: Monitor and analyze security events and alerts from various sources, such as network and endpoint sensors, SIEM systems, and other commercial sources according to the SOC-CSIRT processes.
Conduct in-depth analysis of incidents, utilizing advanced tools and techniques according to the SOC-CSIRT processes.
Identify the scope, impact, and nature of incidents and determine the appropriate course of action for containment, eradication, and recovery.
Carry out management and support personnel escalations.
Work with other members of the security organization to develop and implement measures to protect the organization's IT infrastructure.
Provide clear and concise communication to SOC team members and, when required, stakeholders across the organization.
Stay up to date with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.
About the Ideal Candidate: Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, related disciplines or equivalent work experience.
2-6 years of related experience in one of the (or a combination of) the following areas: design, planning, and management of cloud infrastructure, digital forensics/incident response, SOC analyst, SOC management, incident management experience, and SIEM/correlation/ticketing/alerting.
Experience with malware analysis, reverse engineering, penetration testing, and network security.
Good understanding of security and audit standards (e.g., ISO17799, ITSEC, PCI/DSS, ISO27000, COBIT, SSAE, etc.).
A drive to learn and bring in new ideas, test, and implement them.
High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
Fluent English skills to achieve results in a multicultural environment.
Additionally, good knowledge in at least 3 of the following areas: SIEM management (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel) Security network engineering and IDS/WAF systems (Imperva, Palo Alto, etc.)
Linux/Windows system security and administration Anti-virus and XDR technology (Defender, McAfee, CrowdStrike, Cortex, etc.)
