Machine Learning Engineer for Restaurant and CPG/Brands Advertising

Roles and responsibilities

Role Objective

You will be working within the Machine Learning squad and closely to the ML engineering lead to build the ML infrastructure at RappiAds. Some of the projects you’ll be working on are recommender and ranking systems to show the most relevant content to Rappi’s users, decision engines for our Restaurant and Brands partners and recommendation systems for our operations.

Main Responsibilities- Design and develop scalable Machine Learning solutions- Deploy and maintain the algorithm and systems to recommend the best content to Rappi’s users and increase conversion- Ownership of the complete lifecycle, from ideation to implementation, ensuring total quality in production.- Iterate in a fast paced environment to continuously impact the RappiAds product positively while bringing value to Rappi’s users and partners.- BSc in Computer Science or similar field- 2+ years of proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role- Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture- Experience to writing robust code in Python and Java- Experience with SQL-like languages- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills- Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes- Proven ability to bring impact to the product in a fast pace

Desired Requirements- M.Sc. in Computer Science or similar field- 5+ years of proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role

Motivation: Core Team for Monetizations and Ads- create new product to teams- models, personalization, budget allocation, lead allocation to commercial teams- automation budget optimization
