- Function Overview:_
- The _**_Regulatory Coordinator Colombia _**_role is responsible for Maintenance of current portfolio and approval of new projects, fulfilling with local registration legislation and internal guidelines_
**_Regulatory Coordinator_**_ _Colombia will report to Regulatory Manager LAN._
- RESPONSABILITIES_
**_Submissions and approvals of new projects & maintain the current portfolio right to operate _**
- _Build and implement registration strategy for new products based on country regulatory scenario_
- _Lead submissions of new projects based on business needs, making effective follow up with authorities to obtain registrations in defined timeliness_
- _Networking with Global team and other internal customers (R&D, marketing, supply) to obtain tech documentation needed for registration process _
- _Networking with external customers (contractors, consultants) to obtain tech documentation needed for registration process _
- _Preparation of robust technical dossiers to optimize registration process and approval timeliness._
- _Prepare and obtain internal approval of new labels fulfilling with local legislation and internal guidelines_
- _Respond any additional technical information needed to continue with the process fulfilling with authorities’ timeliness _
- _Networking with Product stewardship to guarantee FMC post registration activities fulfill with authorities’ requirements_
- _Define budget needs per project_
**_Regulatory _**
- _Actively participation in local industry associations, proactively identification of issues, new trends and stakeholders that could have a significant impact in the business_
- _continuous Interaction with local authorities to understand registration processes, future trends and issues._
- _continuous Networking with internal team: sales, marketing erc, making periodic updates of projects and communicating changes in timeliness_
- _continuous Interaction with R&RA team to exchange experiences, best practices, future trends Annual Regulatory Budget preparation aligned with Regulatory Directions, Finance and Area Business Leaders._
- _Provide Regulatory directions to the Product Stewardship leader to defend FMC strategic markets and molecules._
- _Proactive Actions for training Regulatory team on new requirements: Risk Assessment (worker exposure dietary and environmental)_
- QUALIFICATIONS_
- Experience dealing with regulatory authorities and policymakers_ _and desirable knowledge of _**_PERU legislation._**
- Ability to effectively monitor industry and regulatory activities and assess impact on key compounds, preparing risk assessments._
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize data and develop recommendations_
- Sound judgment, planning, project management and organizational skills_
- Basic knowledge of crop protection industry: technical, commercial, farming techniques, crop specific issues, etc. is preferred_
