- As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of the IP Solutions business group.**Your impact as a Software Engineer**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Document and implement functionality.
- Perform code reviews with other engineers. You’ll work with Product Management and other stakeholders (Backend, UX, etc.) to iterate on new features within the our products.
- Craft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment.
- Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.
- Consistently ship small features and improvements with mínimal guidance and support from other team members. Collaborate with the team on larger projects.
- Work collaboratively with fellow software engineers to build features requested by business stakeholders.
- Diagnose, debug and perform root cause analysis of issues and defects.
- Applies system design, development and process standards.
- Creates, maintains, and publishes system level documentation with guidance, including system diagrams.
- Ensures requirements are clear, concise and complete prior to starting development. Works with product development and stakeholders to evaluate feasibility.

**Required Experience and Characteristics**:

- An inquisitive mind and a desire to promote innovation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to own broad feature areas independently
- Willingness to work in a highly-collaborative environment where the belief is that great ideas can come from anywhere.
- Professional experience with VueJS **or** another modern JavaScript web framework (React, Angular, Ember, etc)
- Experience with writing automated tests (eg. Jest, Karma, Jasmine, Mocha, AVA, tape)
- Experience using Git in a professional/workplace environment
- A solid understanding in core web and browser concepts (eg. how the browser parses and constructs a web page)
- A solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.

**Preferred Experience**:

- Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD tools and methodologies.
