As a** Data Analyst**, your primary responsibilities will include meticulously cleansing and comprehensively interpreting diverse datasets. With the data already provided, your focus can remain solely on refining and analyzing the information at hand.
**Some of your responsibilities are but are not limited to**:
- **Cleaning Data**:Raw data can contain duplicates, errors, or outliers. Cleaning the data ensures its quality in spreadsheets or through programming languages, preventing incorrect or skewed interpretations.
- **Modeling Data**:Creating and designing database structures is part of modeling data. Data analysts decide what types of data to store, establish relationships between data categories, and define how the data appears.
- **Interpreting Data**: Data interpretation involves identifying patterns or trends that can answer specific questions. It’s about extracting meaningful insights from the data.
- **Presentation and Communication**:Communicating findings is crucial. Data analysts create visualizations like charts and graphs, write reports, and present information to stakeholders.
- **Tools Used**:During data analysis, analysts employ various tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency. These tools include programming languages (such as Python or R), data visualization tools (like Tableau), and statistical software (such as SPSS or Excel).

**Minimum requirements**:
- **Studies**: High School Degree is **required**. Having a bachelor's degree is also **required**, preferable in either Mathematical Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Finance or a related field (with a quantitative focus).
- **Experience**:2+ years** of experience in the role of a Data Analyst, adept at cleaning, modeling, and interpreting data.
- **Technical Knowledge**: High knowledge in **Excel **including pivots and formula writing. Skilled in **programming languages** such as Python or R, adept at utilizing **data visualization tools** like Tableau, and experienced with **statistical software** such as SPSS, in addition to Excel.
- **Language**: Excellent English skills. B2+ or higher proficiency required.
**Perks**:
- **Schedule**:Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., following the American Calendar.
- **Contract**: Indefinite term contract + Benefits.
- **Location**:Only for **Colombia**. This position will be **remote**.
- **Salary**: 5.000.000 COP.
