Refund Analyst

We are looking for a Refund Analyst to join our team As a Refund Analyst, you will partner with business and finance leaders to develop refund plans to achieve profit targets as well as develop refund goals and forecasts, interpret actual results, provide variance analysis, and recommend actions to ensure success throughout the year.

**How you will achieve success**:

- _ Partnership on creation of Power BI dashboard utilized by the Defect Reduction team_
- _ Utilize data to find ideas to chase, examples include but are not limited to:_** **_Analysis of Channel Performance for all Channels, New Vendor SKU performance, “Big Fish” to address,_ _Pre-seasonal reviews_
- _ Develop refund goals and forecasts_
- _ Recommend actions to ensure ongoing success_
- _ Be able to lead “Top to Top” external vendor conversations to highlight status of current business with data and creative solutions to improving business_
- _ Identify opportunities for scalable impacts and aligning team to execute vision_
- _ Partner with Refunds team including Sr. Defect Reduction Manager, Issue Prevention Specialists_
- _ Will work with stakeholders in Finance/Accounting, Data, IT, Channel Managers, and Merchantteams_
- _ Proficient in Excel_
- _ Ability to create Data Visualization tool in PowerBI_
- _ Proficient in Variance Analysis, Budgeting, Forecasting_
- P_roficient in analyzing large data sets to identify root cause trends_
- _ Extreme attention to detail_

**What experience will help you in this role**:

- _ 0-3 years of financial analysis experience_
- _ Intermediate level computer proficiency, with ideal experience in SQL_
- _ Proficient in Excel_
- _ Proficient in analyzing large data sets to identify root cause trends_
- _ Effectively communicate across all communication channels_
- _ Ability to create Data Visualization in PowerBI_
- _ Proficient in Variance Analysis, Budgeting, Forecasting_
- _ Extreme attention to detail_

Desktop/Laptop system requirements:

- 4th generation or higher, at least Intel i3 or equivalent processor;
- at least 4GB RAM;
- Windows 10 and above or MAC OSX operating system

A strong and stable internet connection (A DSL, cable or fiber wired internet service with 10 Mbps plan or higher for primary connection)

PC Headset

A high-definition (HD) external or integrated webcam with at least 720p resolution.
