The Quality Control Coordinator, reporting to the Quality Manager, will plan, organize, and lead the execution of Quality Control programs by overseeing the sensory and/or analytical QC laboratories, ensuring work is conducted in a safe and efficient manner that assures the integrity of QC results and meets the agreed QC service level.

**You will**:

- Participate in the design of tactical and operational plans for the site function and execute QC tasks in the assigned area(s) of activity in order to meet quality control objectives
- Supervise QC Analysts and QC Technicians in executing chemical, physical testing or sensory evaluation of raw materials, intermediates and products as identified by the current Givaudan specification for the item.
- Monitor both team and individual performance and workload.
- Responsible for the maintenance of test equipment, identifying future resource needs and dedicated test space for the Raw Materials, Finished Goods and labs materials.
- Lead the identification and implementation of improvement opportunities in QC, set proactive measures to pre-vent issues.
- Coach QC Analysts and QC Technicians in achieving safe, correct and efficient completion of assigned work and drive the development and promotion of local QC talents within Operations
- Management of analysis in external laboratory, labs materials and good laboratory practices.
- Perform chemical, physical testing and sensory evaluation of products or incoming ingredients as identified by the current Givaudan specification for the item.
- Enter test results into SAP timely resulting in an acceptance or rejection.
- Perform basic equipment calibrations per frequency noted in calibration procedures.
- Perform instruments, equipment and quality deviation troubleshooting in the laboratory.
- Ensure the effectiveness of processes managing non-conformances e.g. Customer Complaints, suppliers, and internal non-conformance.
- Drive the Plan, Do, Check, Act continuous improvement process related to critical quality parameters
- Collate, monitor, analyse and report KPI e.g. testing lead time.
- Lead cross functional improvement initiatives and meetings in relation to Supply Chain
- Coordinate the review and response to customers about topics related quality control enquiries, agreements, questionnaires, etc.

**Your professional profile requires**:

- Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related discipline.
- Overall work experience of 3 years in a similar position, supervisory experience preferred.
- Proficient in systems, procedures and techniques for laboratory operations.
- Broad knowledge of ingredients and products safety principles, global standards, and regulations.
- Previous background in Sensory Evaluation and Analytical QC required.
- Intermediate level of English.
