Under Colombia’s Sales Manager and Country Manager supervision, plays an important role to assure build business by identifying and selling prospects; maintaining relationships with clients. Responsible for fulfillment of Sales related activities at local level and providing, professional, and efficient service to our customers to uphold the reputation that sets us apart from our competitors.

Responsable del cumplimiento de las actividades relacionadas con las ventas a nível local y de proporcionar un servicio profesional y eficiente a nuestros clientes para mantener la reputación que nos distingue de nuestros competidores._
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (DEBERES Y RESPONSABILIDADES PRINCIPALES):
Responsible for understanding all World Courier’s product & services offerings and becoming a champion for practical integration of “real world” solutions.
- Responsable de comprender todas las ofertas de productos y servicios de World Courier y convertirse en un defensor de la integración práctica de las soluciones del "mundo real"_
Implement local sales strategies together with the BD team to sell and implement customer tailored solutions in the Latin America region.
- Implemente estrategias de ventas locales junto con el equipo de BD para vender e implementar soluciones a medida del cliente en la región de América Latina._
Gather information; analyzes and develops strategies under the Business Development & Sales Manager supervision and address dynamics that may affect area of responsibility using solution selling techniques.
- Recopilar información; analiza y desarrolla estrategias bajo la supervisión del Gerente de Desarrollo Comercial y Ventas y aborda dinámicas que pueden afectar el área de responsabilidad utilizando técnicas de venta de soluciones._
Focuses on New Sales by researching potential customers and qualified contacts on his/her own accord.
- Se enfoca en nuevas ventas investigando clientes potenciales y contactos calificados por su propia cuenta._
Manages his/her prospect list/stock of potential clients and performs cold calls to generate the first contact with potential customers and contacts
- Administra su lista de prospectos / stock de clientes potenciales y realiza llamadas en frío para generar el primer contacto con clientes y contactos potenciales_
Plans customer visits and creates a plan of action by following a “Roadmap to sell”
- Planifica las visitas de los clientes y crea un plan de acción siguiendo una "Hoja de ruta para vender"_
Visits potential customers and carries out sales meetings with the goal of obtaining New Sales
- Visita a clientes potenciales y lleva a cabo reuniones de ventas con el objetivo de obtener nuevas ventas._
Creates sales presentations for potential customers
- Crea presentaciones de ventas para clientes potenciales_
Completes follow up on potential customers on all new sales
- Completa el seguimiento de clientes potenciales en todas las nuevas ventas._
Maintains all current market data on competition and forwards any observations to Local Management
- Mantiene todos los datos actuales del mercado sobre competencia y envía cualquier observación a la Administración Local_
Maintains sales-statistics and forwards these to the Local Management
- Mantiene estadísticas de ventas y las envía a la Administración local_
Attends sales-meetings as well as training and schooling;
- Asiste a reuniones de ventas, así como a capacitación y educación_
Represents the corporation at trade-fairs and conventions;
- Representa a la corporación en ferias y convenciones_
Constantly informs himself/herself regarding the newest developments in the market and new products or services of the own company as well as of the competition
- Constantemente se informa sobre los desarrollos más recientes en el mercado y los nuevos productos o servicios de la propia empresa, así como de la competencia._
Keep a tracking of customers generating reports and information to be shared with the respective BD and Sales teams. Help to contact and prospect customers aligned with the respective BD and Sales strategies and tactics.
- Mantenga un seguimiento de los clientes que generan informes e información para compartir con los respectivos equipos de BD y Ventas. Ayuda para contactar y prospectar clientes alineados con las estrategias y tácticas respectivas de BD y Ventas_
Manage sales force technology requirements such as solutions and systems;
