This position will lead a Human Resources team and serve as the key business partner for

Patterson-UTI Drilling Colombia corporate and regional operations employees and the

leadership team of this business line. In addition, this role will implement the broader HR strategy

for the geographic area of responsibility and ensure those initiatives align with the overall

Patterson-UTI business objectives and compliance with our policies and procedures. This role

will ensure that the company’s programs and policies are compliant with regulatory requirements

and partner with the business leaders to implement programs that align with those requirements.

This position requires a strong HR generalist and HR management background with the ability to- build effective relationships with all levels of the organization. In addition, this role will lead and- contribute to the broader HR organization strategies and initiatives and lead key projects as- assigned.- professional in written, verbal and personal actions in any situation; seek new knowledge and- experiences; have an analytical mindset that can utilize factual data to develop creative and- business-oriented solutions; be self
- aware and adjust accordingly to different environments and- audiences.

**Job Requirements***:

- Proven leader with previous experience managing, leading and developing others
- Advanced knowledge of HR processes and practices as well as federal, state and local
- employment laws and their impact to the organization- Ability to conduct thorough and detailed employee investigations, resolving employee
- complaints, and documenting results- Possess exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to use multiple
- systems and tools to run reports, analyze data and make effective decisions- Excellent computer skills to include MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and the
- ability to learn new technology- Demonstrated success working in a matrix, team-based environment
- Ability to prepare and present HR initiatives and training programs to management and
- employees- High level of energy with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- and manage multiple initiatives concurrently- Effective communication skills, which include the ability to speak, write and listen in a
- manner that clarifies issues, promotes closure and delivers information in a clear and- concise manner- Demonstrates good judgment and decision-making skills including modeling ethical
- leadership and compliance with Company policies concerning personal behavior- Proven organizational and project management skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills to work effectively with all levels of
- leadership, employees and peers- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all Company policies and procedures, and be able to
- respond to inquiries from employees regarding those policies and procedures- Ability to maintain Company and employee confidentiality at all times and handle
- sensitive employee information and protect Company proprietary information in an- appropriate manner.- Ability to travel as needed to visit drilling rig work sites and support business units;
- occasionally requiring extended travel to remote locations and/or overnight stay(s)- outside normal office area- Ability to safely navigate drilling rig work sites with occasional walking, climbing, standing,
- stepping, etc. during normal rig operating conditions (day/night, outdoor hot/cold weather)- including proper use of designated personal protective equipment (PPE)

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Ten (10) + years of progressive experience in Human Resources demonstrating work in
- multiple facets of HR- Five (5) + years of certified experience in human and social resources in companies in
- the hydrocarbon sector, managing all processes in the area, management with- communities, unions, skills mapping and SPE regulations.- Five (5) + years of experience in managing a Human Resources organization
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field of study’
- Bi-Lingual (English and Spanish)

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- PHR or SHRM-CP
- Experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- Experience with Oracle HRIS
