**What a typical day will look like**
Conduct placement of new business and renewals for Engineering, All Risks Construction and Erection, Completed Civil Works, Equipment and Machinery, Political Risks, Oil and Gas and Power lines to achieve compliance with established budget.
- Perform market booking.
- Prepare all technical information for underwriters, including reinsurance contract documentation for small, medium and large accounts.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with reinsurers.
- Achieve the renewal of the current portfolio.
- Managing new business opportunities.
- Preparation of spreadsheets for the determination of revenues.
- Preparation of placement slips and cover notes.
- Handling of all existing portfolio movements including portfolio requirements and operations.
- Compliance with the financial plan and goals in charge of the line and other established indicators.
**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- Experience: In an insurance or reinsurance broker or in an insurance company in the underwriting or claims area.
- Technical Knowledge: In Insurance, Reinsurance and in general of general insurance lines.
- Studies and/or specialties: Undergraduate degree in administrative, accounting, engineering or law areas.
- Languages: English intermediate-high level.
- Technological tools: Excel, Word and Power Point and Office in general.
