Lead the Regulatory strategies for the Andean region in order to i) support the business development plans, ii) ensure product compliance and, iii) oversee the liaison and negotiation with the regulatory authorities and trade associations to promote Colgate interests. Be the Technical Person/Manager overseeing the compliance of the operations (manufacturing and distribution) and products (Cosmetics and Medical Devices) in Colombia. Be the point person with INVIMA
**What you will do**:
- Lead product registration for the Andean region. Ensure the technical information, the claim support (clinical and technical studies) and the artworks are adequate and accurate.
- Ensure that all locally produced or imported products meet the technical and legal standards for the Region and are timely authorized for placement on the market
- Act as the Responsible Person / Technical Director for the manufacture, import and distribution of Cosmetics and Medical Devices in Colombia
- Manage product life cycle activities for the existing products to ensure the registers are updated in accordance to the formula and label revisions
- Monitor the regulatory landscape related to product portfolio, assess and communicate the impact to the stakeholders.
- Represent Colgate at the Trade Association (ANDI) and participate in selected working groups at CASIC
- Be the liaison with INVIMA on the techno - and cosmeto-vigilance aspects for the products marketed in Colombia
- Coach the Regulatory Affairs team in the Andean region to ensure focus on the business goals and on the continuous improvement opportunities.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
**Required Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree Pharmacist or related.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in Regulatory Affairs for cosmetic or pharmaceutical industry.
- In depth expertise in regulation related to Cosmetic or Medical Device in Andean or LATAM
- At least 2 years of managerial experience with a team of 3 to 5 people
- Ability to focus on details and coordinate projects.
- Ability to think strategically and plan goals.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter who takes initiative and has a strong sense of urgency.
- Well-versed in Andean or LATAM regulations Physical Demands
- Fluent in English
