We are looking for a great communicator to join the Corporate Affairs and Communications team of TransUnion to support the marketing communications needs of our newly established Costa Rica Global Capability Center (GCC).

Part of a larger global team, this role will implement best practice in a fast-growing center that supports multiple international markets.

The role will help our Costa Rica GCC tell its story (and how it supports TransUnion’s wider global growth) creatively and effectively across multiple communication and marketing disciplines and platforms, for a variety of different audiences. If you love to be proactive and engaging, and want to shape a function from the start, this role is for you.

You’ll be comfortable working with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels to support the TU brand and ensure we are known as an employer of choice. This role is key in helping us recruit and retain top talent in Costa Rica, and in enabling audiences to better understand who we are and what we do.

- A strategic marketing communications mindset that ensures key messaging, positioning and measurable objectives are all in alignment with overall global and assigned business unit goals
- Superior oral and written communication skills, with a temperament to confidently represent, persuade others and negotiate in the best interests of the company and the TransUnion Costa Rica Global Capability Centre
- Bilingual abilities - **fluent in both Spanish and English **(competent writing in both)
- Ability to lead and help with end-to-end event management of internal corporate events (including town halls) and external branding events such as conferences, workshops, etc.
- Knowledge/ability to deploy and use analytical capabilities to assess program impact and to shape and improve future activity
- Ability to work with multiple, cross-functional teams and resources in Costa Rica and across TU’s other GCCs and channel-specific teams in other geographies around the world
- Experience and aptitude to work as a sounding board to cross functional teams and senior leaders in our GCC, adhering to the corporate communication standards of TransUnion
- Experience managing outside agencies and wider suppliers for effective delivery of key activity
- A flair for creativity, flexibility and initiative
- Ability to form strong, collaborative working relationships (internal and external) at all levels
- Willingness to support the broader corporate communications team on key projects
- Willingness to perform other related duties as assigned

- Communications portfolio experience - excellent verbal and written communications skills, with significant writing experience
- A minimum of 5+ years relevant professional experience, preferably at a marketing/communications/PR agency or in a corporate communications setting
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or another related field and/or professional qualification in related field

**Impact you’ll make**:

- Act as primary consultant for our Costa Rica Global Capability Center on all communication matters with strong expertise across channels
- Help build Costa Rica GCC’s reputation (and support wider global brand messaging)
- Build productive relationships and identify compelling stories and activity to foster a positive associate experience and showcase our employer of choice status. As a strong writer you’ll have the tools to bring these stories to life in an engaging and compelling way (across all communication channels and disciplines)
- Manage projects from start to finish, including strategic direction, creative, execution and measurement
- Grow alongside our own ambition for our Costa Rica Global Capability Center - this role will be hands on but have the ability to progress as our business grows
