**Billing SPL (Billing assistant) grade 7**
**Position Summary**:
This position processes reviews, consolidates, analyzes and generates bills and reports for high-tech customers based in US. In addition, he/she processes billing adjustments as well as research as required. This position requires great attention to details and needs to ensure all steps of the billing procedure are followed with high standards.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepares daily reconciliations and analyzes source documents.
- Ensures accuracy of customer records and responds to customer inquiries as needed.
- Identifies, researches, and resolves any errors or customer disputes.
- Edits billing-related information, updates customers’ invoicing, and ensures proper support documentation is included.
- Reviews customer contracts for new pricing and updates customer exception lists.
- Creates and processes manual billing entries and reviews and compares billing to customer rates.
- Processes transportation records through key entry.
- Elaborates reports for internal and external customers as required.
- Collaborates with other team members to ensure billing can be completed for all customers within the deadlines previously established.
**Education and Work experience**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel (logic functions, pivots, macros, databases) and Access. Word and Power Point is also preferred.
- Accounting background - Preferred
- English level 80%
**Other job requirements**
- 80% Excel
- 70% Access
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
**Languages**:80% English
**Shift**
Monday to Friday - 7 am to 5 pm - Colombian holidays based on operation needs. **Working on site.**
