**JOB TITLE**:Insurance Representative

**LOCATION**:Medellín, Col

**TYPE**:On-site

**SCHEDULE**:Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm

**TYPE OF CONTRACT**:Permanent

**PAY RATE**: $2.300.000 - $2.500.000 COP + BENEFITS.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
The Insurance Representative serves as a contact between customers and sales and service personnel, providing exemplary support and assistance. This position requires a person who has an inherent service orientation, and who can remain calm and communicate clearly and tactfully, both externally and internally. Strong knowledge of common concepts, practices, and procedures used in the insurance field is required.

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**:

- Communicate and provide service to customers to build positive supportive relationships.
- Meet the needs and follow up on customer issues to ensure a successful resolution.
- Document and present responses correctly in a solution item format.
- Provide clear and articulate communication with accurate information and with professionalism and courtesy.
- Refer unresolved issues to the appropriate department.
- Gather immediate and accurate feedback from customers.
- Make appropriate use of all available tools.
- Handle calls and correspondence that are predominantly routine but may require some deviation from standard procedures.
- Provide high-quality customer satisfaction while responding to inquiries from members and other stakeholders of the from members and other interested parties courteously and professionally.
- Perform any other duties as may be requested by the supervisor or management.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 1-3 years of experience in the Insurance industry is required.
- 2-3 years of experience in customer service.
- High school diploma
- Bilingual: English, and Spanish - preferred

**SKILLS**:

- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate level of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Easy to learn how to use technological tools.
- Good conflict resolution skills.
- Analytical skills.
- Proactive person.
- Excellent spelling and diction.
- Responsibility in handling sensitive information and a high degree of confidentiality.

- Medellín, Antioquia: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

- High school or equivalent (preferred)

- Insurance industry: 2 years (preferred)
- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
