**The Role**

We are seeking an experienced individual for the role of Finance Manager (Second Spectrum)_._ This role is key to ensuring timely and accurate delivery of reporting requirements, strengthening the capability of the Second Spectrum team and forging a finance function that drives the business to success.

The role is expected to be primarily remote. The role requires a high level of interaction with Group and other finance teams, non-finance teams and with third parties as necessary.
- Reports directly to Regional Financial Controller - Americas & Second Spectrum
- Support and development of the Second Spectrum accounting team, including 2 direct reports
- Development of Workday Financials / reduction in reliance on Excel
- Improvements in Finance Processes
- Support in the creation and improvement of SOX controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Support the submission and presentation of monthly Regional results including P&L, Balance Sheet and supporting information
- Responsible for cost reporting and relevant analysis
- Ensuring all accounting is in line with required GAAP and Group policy
- Supporting SEC reporting team in US GAAP reporting
- Supporting RFC in completion of local Audits
- Review and improvement of Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Other Ad hoc work as initiated or required
