**Shopify Web Developer (CRO and Landing Pages) at Step Labs**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Data Analysis and Insights**
- Analyze website data using tools like Google Analytics to identify areas for improvement, such as high bounce rates, low conversion rates, and user drop-off points
- Develop and maintain comprehensive reports on website performance, conversion rates, and user behavior
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to cross-functional teams to optimize the user experience and drive conversions

**A/B and Multivariate Testing**
- Design, implement, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests using tools like Optimizely to improve website elements such as call-to-action buttons, forms, and landing pages
- Develop test hypotheses based on data insights and industry best practices
- Collaborate with design and development teams to create test variations and ensure seamless implementation
- Monitor test results and provide recommendations for iterative improvements

**User Experience Optimization**
- Conduct user research, surveys, and usability tests to gain insights into user behavior and preferences
- Analyze user feedback and identify areas for improvement in the user experience
- Work closely with the design team to develop wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that optimize the conversion funnel
- Ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience across all devices and platforms

**Landing Page Development and Optimization**:

- Design and build high-converting landing pages to support marketing campaigns.
- Optimize landing pages for speed, usability, and SEO.
- Test landing page variations to improve conversion rates and user engagement.
- Collaborate with the copywriting team to create compelling and persuasive content.

**Cross-Functional Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with marketing, design, and product management teams to deliver cohesive and effective e-commerce solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members on Shopify and CRO best practices.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for improving the overall user experience and driving business growth.

**Reporting and Communication**:

- Develop and maintain regular reports on CRO initiatives, landing page performance, and key metrics.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including clients and executive leadership.
- Present technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to non-technical team members.

**Continuous Learning and Improvement**:

- Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in Shopify development and CRO.
- Attend relevant conferences, workshops, and training sessions to expand knowledge and skills.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal processes and methodologies.

**Shopify Store Development**:

- Develop and customize Shopify themes to meet client requirements.
- Implement and maintain e-commerce functionalities using Liquid, Shopify's templating language.
- Ensure all customizations are optimized for performance and scalability.
