**Job Summary**: The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for the control and communication around field/distributor inventory both physically and systematically, through monitoring, traceability, and reconciliations. This position serves as the primary contact for a specified geographic region of Distributors and maintains, assigns, or escalates all of their Inventory Control requests/needs accordingly.

**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**: - Develop daily reports to assist assigned distributors with identifying inventory discrepancies
- Investigates daily inventory variances and works cross-departmentally to identify root cause and recommend solutions.
- Responsible for the timely research, disposition, and reporting of disputed inventory.
- Controls the systematic movement of inventory and data integrity.
- Develop ideas and projects for process improvement related to maintaining data integrity and improving operating efficiency for both the field and corporate.
- Generates regular weekly/monthly reporting as well as all ad-hoc reporting such as adjustment and debit charge trends.
- Issue distributor debits for assigned distributors when appropriate such as lost product.
- Release assigned distributors credits on a timely basis.
- Presenting monthly metrics, updates, and reminders to offices providing one on one guidance, trouble shooting, and methods of improvements
- Perform duties in compliance with applicable regulations and standards such as FDA Quality System Regulation and ISO (International Organization for Standardization). Follow all standard operating procedures, written and oral, at all times and ensure proper document retention.

**Expected Areas of Competence**: - Computer literate with intermediate to advanced familiarity with MS Excel
- Strong customer service orientation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially the ability to foster positive relationships with all internal and external (field ops/sales) personnel
- Results oriented with the ability to accomplish work in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and willingness to learn
- Ability to work unsupervised on assigned tasks
- Demonstrated analytical skills, especially in the areas of process improvement and problem solving. Highly developed organizational skills - able to handle multiple high priority tasks/projects concurrently without constant daily guidance

**Education/Experience Requirements**: - 3+ years related experience, preferably within the medical device industry
- Experience with Inventory Control practices and data analysis.
- Associates degree or additional industry work experience preferred.
- Computer literate with intermediate to advanced familiarity with MS Excel

**Travel Requirements**: 5%
