**About our client**

Our client is an investment advisory firm specializing in M&A and debt advisory for PE funds and companies. The firm has a broad global footprint with offices in Dublin, New York, Madrid, Bogotá, Mexico City and Seoul. It is your chance to lead the Colombian-based team in originating infrastructure, energy, and utilities transactions in the Latin American market. The position is based in Bogotá, Colombia.

**What the job involves**
- Identify high value contacts at potential business targets.
- Lead in the origination and execution of transactions with a focus on M&A, capital raising (debt and equity) and restructuring assignments.
- Spearhead business development initiatives, helping the group further expand its presence in the energy and infrastructure sectors in the region.
- Identify, originate, negotiate, and structure business and execute transactions with the support of our client’s team in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
- Motivate and manage a team of subordinates to ensure a quality transaction process, from initial identification of opportunities through to due diligence, negotiations, and execution.
- Lead negotiations to successfully execute transactions with target customers.

**Who we are looking for**
- Demonstrated experience in M&A and capital raising within the M&A, TMT, infrastructure, energy, and Infrastructure sectors; strong emphasis on originating deals.
- A rain maker, someone with proven business development experience and well connected in the Colombian and core Latin American markets.
- Superior analytical, negotiating and deal execution experience, one who can originate and steer transactions to a successful fruition.
- Solid experience investing in or financing energy and infrastructure projects.
- Impeccable communication skills, one who can foster relationships at all levels and with external clients.
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.
