We're actively seeking a Senior Application Support Engineer to join our remote-based team. The selected applicant will be tasked with providing technical assistance to clients using Google Cloud Platform.

Functioning as part of our around-the-clock global support crew, your duties will involve working in unison with engineers and product managers in order to enhance our products and ensure customer success. By effectively supporting customers utilizing Cloud Platform products, solutions, and APIs, and managing change requests plus incident ticket processing for Infrastructure Teams, you'll be pivotal in our success. Additionally, your role will involve documenting product bugs, feature requests, and collaborating with internal teams and customers to devise effective solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Customer support for Cloud Platform product, solution, and API use
- Provision of technical help as a member of a 24x7 global support ecosystem
- Collaboration with engineers and product managers in product improvement and customer success initiatives
- Incident, Problem and Change Management for remaining Infrastructure Teams via handling change requests and incident tickets
- Technical and developer support provision for Cloud Platform product, solution, and API consumers
- Adherence to notification and escalation procedures
- Communication standards following in business-related operational issues
- Product bug and feature request identification and documentation, and solution development with internal teams and customers
- Close collaboration with internal support units to enhance cloud products at a senior level

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- At least 3 years of development experience in technologies such as Java, Javascript, PHP, Python, Go,.NET, Ruby, or Node.js
- Minimum of two years of support experience encompassing monitoring, software maintenance, and new feature development
- Proficiency in software architecture patterns like Monolith, Distributed, and Microservices
- Web development experience with REST, SOAP, RPC, HTTP, HTTPS
- Familiarity with code review, GCP databases, GCP storage, Linux administration, and network basics
- Upper-intermediate proficiency in English (written and spoken)

NICE TO HAVE
- Cloud computing expertise
- Knowledge of utilizing Web Authentication techniques (Basic, Cookies)
- Understanding of networking concepts such as Load Balancer, Firewall, DNS, Forwarding Rules, NAT
- Experience in using Non-Relational Databases
- Familiarity with consumption of third-party APIs
- Mobile development experience
