**DISCOVER THE ROLE**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees, including data entry, calculations, and verification of hours worked.
- Support the maintenance of payroll records and employee information in the payroll system, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters, providing assistance and resolving issues as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of payroll reports, including earnings statements, tax filings, and other relevant documentation.
- Contribute to process improvements and efficiency enhancements in payroll operations, identifying opportunities for automation and streamlining.
- Maintain confidentiality of payroll information and handle sensitive data with discretion.

**Qualifications & Experience required**:

- Student at least 9 semester or University degree or High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting, finance, or related field is a plus.
- Prior experience in payroll processing or related administrative roles is desirable.
- Familiarity with payroll software systems (e.g., VISMA, SARA) and Microsoft Excel.
- Basic understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
