If you are or know an entrepreneur, you must likely are aware that to import or export a good or service can be complex and risky. However, on the Americas Service Center, based out of Bogota-Colombia, we are making these things happen through Citi’s Documentary Services instruments; covering around 22 countries Latin and North America, we are positioning ourselves as one of the top processing centers in the globe, aiding our clients with their foreign trade solutions.

At this moment we are looking for English-proficient recently graduated enthusiastic professionals, proficient in English, looking to start their career as Export/Imports Jr Analyst.

On daily basis, your responsibilities will be:

- Keep a positive attitude on your daily activities.
- Processing of day-to-day transactions as per local operating procedures.
- Deliver best-in-class service, according to existing guidelines.
- Translate customer requirements on actionable items
- Ensure tracking, accurate and timely resolutions of issues and exception raised
- Ensure client inquiries are investigated and responded appropriately
- Support transactional processing for respective Letter of Credit products, review Letter of Credit documents to determine compliance with international and U.S., regulations and standards
- Propose creative solutions to reduce errors and to ensure adherence to audit and control policies
- Work as a team; support your teammates when required.
- Utilize technical knowledge in order to deliver quality service and achieve operating efficiency
- Maintain awareness of product changes and system enhancements
- Ensure attendance to all mandatory classes
- Responsibility to ensure smooth, error free process flow
- Provide support to all operational processes as needed
- Demonstrated competence in related area
- Participate in testing for new technical features, implementation and training if needed
- Assist with special reports and projects as needed

**Risk and Control**
- Adhere to internal policies to ensure compliance with legal parameters as well as company policies and procedures
- Maintain performance metrics to track defects, productivity.
- Assist unit for audit preparation and necessary actions for clean audit results.
- Responsibility to ensure smooth, error free process flow
- Maintain awareness of product changes and system enhancements
- Understand the procedures and controls required for custody accounts

**Qualifications**:

- Fluent in English.
- 0-2 years or professional experience. Backoffice on financial institutions considered a plus.
- Strong problem solving and/or analytical skills Excellent communication skills.

**Education**
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
