Present in Switzerland since 1997 in Geneva, Talan Switzerland now has nearly 100 employees. Initially focuse in the financial sector, Talan has developed in recent years in the watchmaking, insurance, media and services sectors and recently opened an office in Lausanne.

**Description**

Design and develop the code and the infrastructure needed to process and deliver quality data

**Activities**
- Establish documentation linked to technical deployment
- Order new machines able to host the solution on the correct environment
- Installs and tests the environments with related data
- Helps the technical iops to deploy new solutions in production
- Tests
- Development in continuous integration
- Ensures code quality is maintained
- Participate/assist during the acceptance phase
- is responsible for maintaining the product in operational condition
- Make presentation to countries and advise them on the best control approach
- Manage performing controls to maintain a good data quality standard

- Data profiling deployment
- Migration of controls from IrionDQ to Ab initio platform

IT TOOLS
- Spark and Scala as legacy data pipeline development language
- SparkaaS and Scala as data pipeline development platform
- Management of legacy big data storage solutions (HDFS and Parquet)
- Management of big data storage solutions (IBM Cloud Object Storage and Parquet)
- Implementation of SQL/NO SQL database schemas and queries (MongoDB, Oracle, Postgres)
