It’s an exciting time to be part of IFF, we are looking for our next Account Manager to become part of our industry-lead business development team. If the answer is yes, this may be your next career step As an Account Manager, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of IFF by driving revenue, generating strategies, and serving as a trusted business partner to our customers. The individual we are seeking will develop, implement &execute Sales Strategy with customers in order to grow profitable sales and support overall business objectives of the corporation.
About you
To be successful in this role you must have
- 5+ years of successful sales experience in ingredients for Food and Beverage industry related industry within a strategic sales function. If you have not worked in roles driving revenue growth previously, this role is not the best fit for you. If you are a creative business developer, skilled at managing a complex portfolio, and take a collaborative approach to exceeding customer expectations, then you could be our next Account Manager
Activities
- Deeply understand and leverage internationally IFF’s strategy, organization, capabilities, proprietary, technologies, resources, product and service offerings.
- Position IFF as a strategic trusted partner by co-creating winning value propositions that satisfy customer needs.
- Lead cross functional and cross cultural teams through complex, technically challenging projects.
- Identify/create new business opportunities for the company, develop and execute strategies to generate new sales
- Identify customer needs aligned with the company solutions. Develop deep customer relationships at all levels through intensive networking and providing best in class customer service
- Strive to understand customer strategy, brands, potential and how the company will deliver value to their business
- Create, present and professionally execute account plans aligned with business objectives. Keep plans updated to maintain relevancy
- Be accountable for accurate sales forecasts periodically
- Prepare sales reports and new business activity for the company management
- Leverage internal resources, understand the company's organization, capabilities, proprietary
- Technologies, product and service offerings
- Primary contact for customers, maintain and improve the company's position and image.

**Required Skills**:
- Experience managing Distributors, focusing their daily work, identifying needs and providing feasible resources is a must
- SFDC knowledge is desirable
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in technical fields, chemistry, chemical engineering, food engineering.
- 5+ years of successful sales experience in ingredients for Food and Beverage industry related industry required
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead and coordinate activities with internal support team and customers.
- Knowledgeable of Food and Beverage industry trends, companies, technology, and displays passion for food and flavors.
- Confident, dynamic and enthusiastic professional with ability to generate trust by delivering on commitments
- Possess the ability to lead multi-cultural teams.
- Demonstrated competency in managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Knows the B2B business environment and is a fast learner
- Experience managing Distributors, focusing their daily work, identifying needs and providing feasible resources is a must
