**Job Summary**:
The Accounting Coordinator provides support to the Accounting team and is responsible for assisting Accountants with basic bookkeeping and accounting tasks.
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Billing, invoicing and collecting payments from customers.
- Management and control of Suppliers.
- Reconciling bank records
- Portfolio management and control.
- Accounting and legalization of petty cash.
- Support to the accountant in depreciation and amortization of fixed and intangible assets.
- Support the accountant in the preparation of financial reports.
- Tax settlement. VAT, WITHDRAWAL AND ICA.
- Respond to requirements regarding financial reports.
- Maintain all accounting records.
- Keep in order and updated the file of accounting documents.
- Prepare payments for public services, suppliers and payroll.
- Causation of payroll and social security.
- Support in the Administrative area: box, Treasury, human resources.
- Management of advances and legalizations.
- Preparation of accounting documents: proof of expenses, cash receipts, accounting notes, sales and purchase invoices.
- Preparation of accounting reports.
- Ad hoc requests as needed
**Qualifications**
**Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent experience preferred.
**Experience**:
- 1 - 2 years of accounting experience with an emphasis on a manufacturing environment preferred.
**Technical Skills**:
- Good computer skills with a knowledge of common bookkeeping and spreadsheet programs
- Computer proficiency: MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Math skills
- Teamwork skills
**Soft Skills**:
- Ability to grasp technical issues and comfortable working within a changing environment.
- Ability to plan and manage multiple projects.
- Detail orientated.
- Strong problem analysis and problem resolution skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
