**Purpose**:
Our mission in the Global Services (GS) Portfolio & Process Management (PPM) team is to drive transformation and transparency through expert implementation of our governance process, portfolio, and project delivery to create value for Global Services.
The **Senior Project Manager **is a key role within our organization and is responsible for leading Global Services transformational projects within the region, following the standard project management framework and processes of PPM.
This will entail managing regional/ country level execution of the program through cross functional interactions with Finance, HR and JJT teams. Drive the program execution through the different phases of the programs. This role will be part of a global team dedicated to the delivery of the transformation technology solution, lead through the design, planning, execution through go-live and supporting until operations are stable prior to project closure.
In this role, the resource will be expected to lead and build positive relationships and to effectively lead through the cross functional team (Finance, HR, JJT) in delivering the aligned project objectives.
We are looking for a person who has the passion to lead change, who has a strong background in project management, and a proven track record of project delivery, is customer-centric, has excellent communication & presentation skills, and is adept in working within a multi-cultural shared services matrix organization with cross-functional and cross-regional stakeholders. Finance background and experience leading technology deployments is preferred.
The Senior Program Manager, Galileo Program will report directly to the Director, Transformational Programs. This role will be part of the Finance transformation - Galileo Program, and will work on a multi-year cross-functional that will globalize, modernize, simplify, and will interact with multiple business partners in the area of Finance, HR and IT. This role will have major responsibility for the delivery and flawless execution through excellent country program management.
**You will be responsible for**:
- Partner closely with workstream leads across (Payroll SME & Country Payroll Leads) to lead business and technology teams to ensure seamless execution of design and deployment activities.
- Manage team interdependencies to ensure confirm deliverables are best positioned for completion, avoiding duplication of efforts and disconnected processes / steps driving efficient partnership and synergy amongst all key members of the team
- Drive project management rigor (e.g., overarching project plan and management - Planview)
- Manage program reporting (e.g., status reporting, RAID Log)
- Manages across workstreams/enablers (i.e., Org Enablement, CMC, HR, TWT etc.)
- Organize and facilitate project meetings (e.g. Weekly Core Team, Design Sessions, Toll Gates)
- Create visibility at program and Leadership levels
- Proactively prepare team for upcoming program deliverables
- Support the engagement & coordination of org enablement activities
- Support the Deployment team, Service Delivery Leads and Global squads
- Drive day to day oversight of project plan execution and escalate where needed
- Partner with Payroll Deployment Leads and cross functional partners to identify and manage potential risks and mitigations
- Manage interdependencies outside of the team
