Position Overview:
100% Remote - Sales Engineer / Solution Engineer - Direct-Hire
As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and presenting Salesforce solutions and architecture to solve leading-edge business challenges. This vital resource must evoke confidence in the company's expertise during the pre-sales cycle.
To accomplish this, the Sales Engineer will work with Account Executives and current and prospective customers serving as a technical spokesperson, having a strong desire to leverage their technical and sales skills. This includes the ability to solicit business requirements, develop a technical strategy, effectively demonstrate the solutions that address these requirements, and provide business value. Our Sales Engineers work across different Salesforce product offerings (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc...) to help our clients find the best Solutions for their business.
**Responsibilities**:
- Participate in business process discussion and solution road-mapping with customers and prospects
- Understand the customer's needs, and establish the best Salesforce solution that solves the customer's challenges
- Provide a consultative viewpoint in the pre-sales cycle to gain the confidence of prospective customers
- Make creative product and solution recommendations to satisfy the customer and prospect’s business and technical objectives
- Prepare a demo environment and present a sample solution to existing or prospective customers
- Take complex client and concepts and articulate them to various audiences
- Respond to Request for Proposals (RFP) by estimating a project’s effort with assistance from the delivery team and preparing an actionable Statement of Work (SOW)
- Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 + years of Salesforce configuration experience
- Proficient with AppExchange and commonly used Salesforce Apps like Conga and DocuSign
- Excellent communicator who can easily understand business requirements and think on their feet
- Experience with JIRA or any project management tool
- Sharp individual, who is comfortable speaking to clients
- Hard worker who can manage themselves, their own work, and deliver according to a set timeline
- Quick learner who is easy to work with and can adapt easily in a startup culture
- Salesforce Admin certification
