**Role Summary**
Commure is seeking a talented Product Designer to join our team in Colombia, to assist in creating user-centered digital products for the healthcare industry.
As a crucial member of our design team, you will report to the Director of Design and be responsible for contributing to the design of our healthcare digital products, from concept to delivery. As a UX/UI designer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including healthcare professionals, product managers, engineers, and other designers to create intuitive and engaging experiences that improve patient outcomes.
To succeed in this role, you should possess a critical thinking, detail-oriented, and collaborative mindset. You should also be able to analyze problems from different angles and use data and user research to inform design decisions.
**Responsibilities**
- As a Product Designer you should be responsible for conducting user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points. This includes methods such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights that inform the design process. The designer should also be capable of effectively turning user feedback into actionable insights, using it to iterate and improve design solutions based on user preferences and requirements.
- You should be able to work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, align on project goals, and ensure that design solutions meet business objectives. Collaborate effectively to integrate design into the overall product development process.
- You should be able to iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and data analysis. Use an iterative design process to refine user interfaces, interactions, and visual elements to improve usability and user satisfaction.
- You should be able to maintain visual consistency and adherence to the design system throughout the design process. Additionally, you should have the ability to recognize when a new component is required, conduct research into best practices, and contribute to the design system team by creating the initial version of the needed component.
- Effectively communicate design concepts, rationale, and decisions to stakeholders through presentations, design reviews, and documentation. Collaborate with senior designers to ensure successful implementation of designs and provide support during the development phase.
**Requirements**:
- A Bachelor's degree in design or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in product design.
- Proven experience as a Product Designer or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing your design work.
- Proficiency in Figma or similar.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating insights into actionable design improvements.
- Strong visual design skills, including an eye for typography, color, and layout.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts and decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative design process and meet project deadlines.
- Passion for creating exceptional user experiences and staying updated on industry trends.
- English fluency
The salary range that Commure reasonably expects to pay for this position is $8,000,000 - $10,000,000 COP. Actual salary offered will vary depending on factors including but not limited to: location, education, experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to your salary, Commure also offers many competitive elements in our total compensation package for employees such as equity, a comprehensive benefits package, and flexible time off.
