The Senior Accountant (SA), is in charge of analyzing complex financial records and reports as well as overseeing a region’s/country’s accounting operations. As a SA, you will regulate and authenticate all financial transactions. The SA is expected to keep a ledger to ensure effectiveness and accuracy of all accounting tasks. It is your job to balance accounts and confirm and verify bank statements on behalf of the company. You will need experience using electronic ledger systems, providing intricate business reports as well as maintaining a high-quality work deliverable at all times.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist with financial and tax audits constantly
- Analyze and produce complex financial reports and records
- Document and monitor internal controls in support of the auditing team
- Tool and process management to support the team's changing needs
- Involvement in business registration, tax compliance, and creating, distributing, and reporting tax datasheets
- Monitor and support the development of key account plans for the company
- Work cross-departmentally, and build continuous solutions to help assess, measure, and monitor the impacts of change on
- Use strong analytical skills to explore, examine and interpret data in various forms
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Working knowledge of non-profit tax filing and tax compliance as it pertains to state and federal level regulations
- Identify metrics and establish mechanisms to track changes in the process

- Make recommendations based on analysis and status of reserves, assets, and expenditures
- Adapt at identifying issues, driving to the root cause, and being able to negotiate solutions.

**MILESTONES**:

- Has handled the most complex modules of an operational transformation
- Has shown the ability to learn and work independently with new methodologies

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- BS in accounting or finance or a related field
- 5+ years of experience
- B2+ English Level
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Accounting Supervisor, chief or senior accountant
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to work with multiple priorities, handle several projects,
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Awareness of business trends
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Must be experienced in managing complex and sensitive operational challenges.

**SKILLS**:

- Familiarity with financial accounting statements
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
- Fluency and effective verbal and written communication skills used in working with peers and employees at all levels of the organization.
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
- Proficiency in verbal and non-verbal communications skills
- Proficient in analytical tools, Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
- Summarize and prepare financial status and transactions reports, including a profit and loss statement, and other necessary reports
- Expertise in data analysis and data conversion
- Fluency in the use of statistics related to business improvement metrics and operational performance.
- Able to define problem statements and required outcomes based on cost-benefit analysis linked to business objectives.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively deal with internal customers; foster open upward and downward communication within the organization built on mutual respect.
- Demonstrated ability to support all other departments within the company
