SHIFT WOULD BE M-F

3 AM TO 12 M

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Data Entry and Management**:

- Process and enter work orders into our TMS (Transportation Management System).
- Attach relevant documentation to work orders and manually input data.
- Cross-reference EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) data for accuracy in rating, surcharges, and pricing models.
- **Cargo Tracking and Updates**:

- Monitor and update the status of import/export containers.
- Check marine terminal systems to track cargo, ensuring timely updates.
- Verify cargo status from vessel discharge to terminal availability.
- **Customer Reporting**:

- Generate and send customized reports to customers based on processed work orders and system data.
- Ensure reports meet customer-specific requirements.
- **Cross-Training and Backup**:

- Adjust shifts as needed to cover for PTO and other absences of shift partners.
- Provide coverage for each other during absences and peak times.
- Share responsibilities and support the team to ensure continuity of operations.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Collaborate with team members and dispatchers to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Contribute to reducing data entry and reporting errors.

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, or a similar role is advantageous but not required.
- Familiarity with drayage and container tracking is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Proficiency in using TMS and EDI systems or a willingness to learn.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
