As a Senior Site-Ops Engineer (11261), you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the operational infrastructure of our technology platforms. This role involves ensuring high availability, performance, and security of our systems, while also contributing to the continuous improvement of our operational processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support the deployment and maintenance of critical systems.
**Responsibilities and Duties**:
- Manage and monitor server infrastructure and network performance.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of production systems.
- Implement and maintain security protocols across all operational platforms.
- Collaborate with development and IT teams to support deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, performance, and security.
- Automate routine tasks to improve operational efficiency.
- Document operational processes and procedures for future reference.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- +5 years of experience in site operations, IT infrastructure, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of server management, networking, and security best practices.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
**Nice to Have**:
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
