**About the Role**:
Join us at Keep as a Risk & Compliance Ops Lead, a role where your deep expertise in risk management and regulatory compliance becomes the cornerstone of our operational integrity and strategic success. In this crucial position, you're not just overseeing risk mitigation and compliance; you're upholding our standards of excellence and fostering trust. Your strategic insights and comprehensive understanding of risk and compliance dynamics will be instrumental in guiding our growth and maintaining our competitive edge in the rapidly evolving fintech sector.
- Developing and implementing risk management policies and procedures to identify, assess, and mitigate financial, operational, and compliance risks.
- Monitoring and analyzing risks within the company’s operations and market environment.
- Overseeing day-to-day operations related to risk and compliance, ensuring smooth and effective processes.
- Implementing and maintaining controls and procedures to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Communicating with other departments to ensure awareness and understanding of risk and compliance requirements.
- Advising on the risk implications of new products, services, or business ventures.
- Utilizing technology and data analytics tools to enhance risk detection and compliance monitoring.
**Who You Are**:
- You have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications like CRM or CCEP preferred.
- You have extensive experience in risk management and compliance within the financial services industry.
- You have a thorough understanding of financial regulations and standards, including FINTRAC, OSFI, and GDPR.
- You have a strong ability to assess risks, analyze compliance effectiveness, and develop strategic solutions.
- You have proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective internal and external communication.
- You have familiarity with risk management and compliance software, and adeptness in using data analytics tools.
