**Who we are**:
**Instiglio**'s mission is to unlock the full impact potential of governments to deliver meaningful outcomes for their citizens. We support our partners to integrate Results-Based Financing (RBF) in delivery systems and practices, design data-driven performance management systems and strengthen long-term service delivery capabilities of government partners.

Over the last 10 years, Instiglio has influenced practices, capabilities, and policy frameworks of governments and aid institutions, creating ripple effects and shaping how hundreds of millions of dollars are deployed. We have delivered over 100 projects with governments, multilateral organizations, foundations and service providers in 30 low
- and middle-income countries to improve outcomes. This work has covered sectors including education, livelihoods, workforce development, health, gender, and climate. Core contributing factors to the influence Instiglio has had thus far include our commitment to delivering cutting-edge innovative work, our unrivaled focus on impact, and our collaborative, highly skilled and diverse team.

Some of our important milestones include the world's first Development Impact Bond (education, India); the launch of performance-based contracts with governments in Africa (employability, Morocco), the structuring of a $60 million results-based transfer system for local school districts (education, Peru), and facilitating MCC's effective use of RBF through a four-year strategic partnership. Instiglio has also advised pioneer RBF transactions, such as the first Outcomes Fund (poverty graduation, Kenya and Uganda) and an RBF that has transformed the delivery performance of Freetown's water utility (utility management, Sierra Leone).

**Our team**:
We are a team of 60+ people, representing 15+ nationalities, with offices in Colombia, Kenya, Morocco and the USA. Our team of practitioners has extensive development and government experience, including previous roles in impact evaluation (e.g., J-PAL), development banks (e.g., World Bank), country governments (e.g., Rwanda Ministry of Finance, Colombia's National Planning Department, Congress of Colombia), and research (e.g., Harvard's Center for International Development).

**How you will make an impact**:
Instiglio offers a unique work experience at the intersection of the private, public, and social sectors. As an Intern Instiglio will offer you the opportunity to engage with a fast-paced results-oriented environment; experience first-hand the fundamentals of a growing global business; and contribute to the momentum of the results movement in international development.

Interns in the Bogotá office will join a growing, entrepreneurial team. Within the team, Interns will work directly with a team composed of a Project lead, Project manager(s), Senior Associates, and/or Associates to deliver high-quality services. As an Intern, you will:

- Facilitate problem-solving and help improve program designs for our public sector clients
- Prepare deliverables and high-quality presentations for clients in** Spanish and English**:

- Conduct literature reviews and synthesize findings
- Execute qualitative and quantitative data analysis
- Support the growth and development of our organization through initiatives such as business development, recruitment, etc.

**Who you are**:

- **Education**:Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, International Development, Public Policy, Business, Economics, Engineering or related fields (you have completed your undergraduate program or in your final year).
- **Language skills**: Full written and oral working proficiency in Spanish (C2) and English (C2), French is a plus.
- **Skills**
- Highly analytical with excellent numerical accuracy
- Ability to synthesize technical information into simple concepts and analyze information critically.
- Ability to work independently.
- High organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A team player attitude and enthusiasm for relational work with clients.
- Passion for international development.

**How you can grow with us**:
Interns at Instiglio have a chance to develop a variety of skills, support in client-facing roles on projects, with the guidance of more experienced senior staff. On the condition of excellent performance, this position could convert to a full-time position. Instiglio has a strong feedback culture, with all staff receiving bi-annual formal, structured reviews, in addition to real-time feedback. Additionally, a mentorship system and development plans are in place to ensure that staff receive proper support in their professional development.
