Part of Kaplan Inc, Kaplan International Languages (KIL) is a world leading group of English, French and German language schools with a network of more than 30 colleges in some of the world’s most desirable destinations - from Los Angeles to New York, from London to Berlin. We recruit students from over 150 countries and offer programmes ranging in length from one week up to a full academic year.
We are now looking to appoint a Marketing Manager for the Americas region, based in Bogota, who will be responsible for creating and delivering a regional marketing plan, which supports profitable revenue growth and drives our student recruitment efforts. KIL’s key source markets in the region are USA, Chile, Argentina, Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, and Spain, as well as several other smaller Latin-American markets. Programmes are sold through two main channels: commission-based education agents and direct student recruitment.

The Marketing team looks after marketing activities for Kaplan International Languages.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager - Spanish Speaking Countries and North America
**Role Summary**
The Marketing Assistant will work in the Marketing Department as part of the Marketing team and reporting directly to a Marketing Manager or Marketing Executive. The focus of the role is to drive qualified traffic to Kaplan International’s website and build the brand within relevant communities in country.
**Duties and responsibilities**
- Support on the implementation of the Social Media content plan working closely with the Marketing Executives.
- Content creation for our blog and Social Media channels and coordination of bigger content projects (e.g. eBooks, videos)
- Creation of campaign assets for LATAM and NA.
- Current website updates. This would happen after training on our CMS.
- Translation tasks.
- Support on tasks related to Partnerships and Affiliates as creation of content focused on a partners’ platform.
- Support on the follow up of ongoing projects
- Assist in the organisation of offline events like fairs, partnerships to generate brand awareness and develop targeted databases.
- Inventory management
- Assist with on-going planning and implementation of customer acquisition activities.
- Assist in the management of content and website
- Manage internal relationships with internal and external stakeholders, colleagues and direct reports, where applicable

- Spanish mother tongue and fluency in English (written and spoken - min B1).
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, to prioritize those tasks and meet deadlines.
- Interest and relevant knowledge in social media.
- Highly energetic and self-motivated, self-aware, innovative and team worker.
- Proactive and passionate about marketing.
- Excellent standard of literacy.

- Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge of Illustrator and/or Photoshop
- Knowledge of tools for video edition
- Experience with website analytics tools
- Knowledge of online marketing tools (SEO, CRM, PPC)
- Creative thinker who can contribute ideas
