In addition, you will be preparing and reviewing construction drawings and technical specifications prepared by you and others working on projects. Under the direction of a Principal engineer, you will lead the technical aspects for Energy projects in the Solar, Wind and Oil & Gas sectors.- Responsibilities will include:
- Engage with large multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex civil infrastructure in support of energy projects
- With mínimal supervision utilize Civil 3D to create alignments, corridors and feature lines to produce civil grading and roadway models for engineering team to review.
- Advanced understanding and concepts in Civil Engineering design including utility, grading/earthwork, drainage, access road design, erosion and sedimentation control, infrastructure design, constructability evaluations.
- Perform hydraulic and hydrologic calculations and analysis to evaluate and develop solutions for stormwater designs including drainage, stormwater management, green infrastructure, and low impact development principles
- Prepare calculations, engineering design plans, technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates with mínimal supervision.
- Review design documents from various disciplines for consistency and coordination
- Engage in verbal and written communications with the civil design team and other disciplines
- Identify problems, develop appropriate solutions, and request assistance where necessary.

- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required.
- 5-15 years’ experience in site civil engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD (Civil 3D) a strong plus
- Strong knowledge of stormwater software (hydraflow, stormcad, HEC-RAS, HEC2D, ArcGIS, or equivalents)
- English at an advanced intermediate level (B2 / C1)
