Description:
Our logistics and transportation firm based in the United States is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Accountant to join our remote team, working from Bogota, Colombia.
Responsibilities:
Prepare complete financial statements in compliance with US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
AC duties (invoicing and collections).
Ensure accuracy and compliance of all financial reports.
Coordinate and collaborate with the accounting team to ensure the proper implementation of US GAAP standards.
Participate in monthly closing activities.
Assist in the preparation of documentation and reports for internal and external audits.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
Proven accounting experience, preferably with knowledge of US GAAP standards (minimum 2 years).
Practical knowledge of QuickBooks Online.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
