Job Title: Deputy Construction Manager of - BUILDINGS

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review and ensure that the activities to be executed in the works are carried out in accordance with the approved designs for construction, local regulations and contractual technical specifications, as well as complying with the planning established for the execution of the activities according to the project schedule.
  • Participate in technical meetings with the design department, obtaining information on the progress of technical studies and solving problems in them, for subsequent implementation on site according to the project development schedule.
  • Evaluate and provide support to the Commercial and Legal department in the preparation of the bidding documents, giving answers to the bidders in case of technical doubts during the selection process, review the specifications and technical data sheets of equipment and materials presented, standardizing the brands and qualities.
  • Evaluate, review and approve drawings, technical data sheets and product certificates submitted by suppliers and/or contractors in compliance with local regulations, technical and contractual specifications of the project.
  • Accompany and technically advise on the processes and procedures before public entities, public utility companies and competent bodies, where possible interferences and/or difficulties in obtaining definitive services in the building section work fronts can be identified beforehand.
  • Participate and cooperate in the development of the activities of the technical tables that are carried out with the INTERVENTORIA for issues related to the development and approval of the technical designs and in the process of execution of the works, ensuring the contractual technical compliance.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience in the construction of large-surface, commercial or industrial projects with concrete foundations and structures.
  • Experience in the technical and financial control of contractors and suppliers of equipment and materials.
  • Academic background: Professional Civil Engineering.
  • Higher Education: Project Manager.
  • Proficient in BIM, AutoCAD, REVIT, and skilled in Excel.

Metro Line 1 S.A.S. does not require payments or the completion of exams or specific training with any company or business training center.
