Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee project dashboards, scheduling, and progress tracking to ensure seamless execution
* Lead weekly meetings, coordinate subcontractors, manage documentation, and track change orders
* Develop and maintain comprehensive project dashboards in Smartsheet
* Consolidate individual project schedules into a master calendar, tracking dependencies and milestones
* Identify at-risk tasks, overdue activities, and potential delays, proactively addressing issues
* Monitor project progress and ensure timely corrective actions are implemented
* Create and distribute regular project progress reports, summarizing key updates
* Compile weekly job progress markups in Bluebeam for clear visual tracking
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Construction Manager. Key qualifications include understanding of construction project sequencing, scheduling, and resource allocation, familiarity with construction documentation (RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes), and knowledge of U.S. building codes (California Building Code expertise is a plus). Technical proficiency in Smartsheet, MS Project, Bluebeam, and Dropbox/Google Drive is also required. Soft skills include strong leadership and coordination abilities, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work independently while ensuring team accountability.
