EBS Global Project Manager

The EBS project manager will develop, manage, and drive the execution of project workplans by leveraging PMO tools and methodologies that will be key to the accomplishment of their goals. With a critical focus on PMO best practices, the EBS Project Manager will be involved in a wide range of activities, such as improving processes and procedures from an E2E perspective, from planning to completion of projects.
This position reports into Angel Reid, EBS Portfolio Lead and is based at Bogota, Colombia (or remote in LATAM).

What will you do?


The EBS (Enterprise Business Solutions) Project Manager is responsible for EBS transformation & governance, portfolio management, PMO coordination, A&D activities, and solutions, deployment & implementation of cross-functional initiatives that accelerate value realization and enable delivery of enterprise objectives.

More specifically, the Project Manager will facilitate the transformation of a function(s) through design, delivery, and execution of project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

The EBS Project Manager:

  • Bring in the best PMO capabilities for programs/projects, with special focus to tools and templates for portfolio resourcing and portfolio management.
  • Ensures successful end to end project/program delivery, implementation, execution, and delivery of project outcomes through golive and stabilization leveraging PMO best practices.
  • Manages and drives complex projects throughout the full project life cycle from ideation, planning, resourcing, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure using both waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Manages PMO activities in support of the overall project/program which primarily include Project Schedule Management, Resource Plans & Management, Risk, Issue and Action/Decision Management (RAID), Project Integration, Inter and Intra Dependency Management.
  • Manages critical path integration across workstreams (i.e., business process, organizational design, deployment, training, user experience, change management/communications and technology)
  • Looks for process improvement opportunities including project team engagement, project delivery, reporting and communications.
  • Is an Initiativetaker, actively seeking process improvement opportunities including project team engagement, project delivery, reporting and communications.
  • Provides coaching, support and leadership to internal and external Project management resources, coach, and lead teams to execute activities such as assessments, building value cases, preparing process documentation, managing knowledge transfer, supporting cutover activities, developing project/ programrelated communications, and providing other project management support and leadership.

What are we looking for?

  • Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5+ years of related business experience, in a shared services organization, preferably in Finance, Procurement, HR, and/or IT functions
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience leading/delivering complex global projects across matrixed teams in project management
  • Detailed knowledge of project management tools and processes with focus to planning, tracking, resource management, scheduling tools, and crossproject analyses. This includes establishment/management of project team structures, design and implement integrated project plans, RAID logs and resource plans.
  • Proficient in project support tools: MS Office and PlanView
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; formal presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a challenging environment, oversee multiple projects, and daily planned and unplanned activities, while managing complexity and ambiguity
  • Demonstrated experience driving and delivering projects of diverse sizes & durations. Highly adaptable to changing needs within the organization adapts to rapidly changing priorities.
