Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking experienced and inspired technical leaders in Colombia to mentor, develop, and collaborate with skilled Solutions Architects who engage directly with customers.

You will play a crucial role in nurturing top-tier cloud solution architects by empowering and guiding them in best practices, solution sales, presentation skills, and the ability to design and present architectures of various complexities.

Working alongside the Inside Sales and Demand Generation Sales Teams, you will contribute to identifying new business opportunities and expanding the customer base.

As a leader in this role, you will oversee a team of Solutions Architects who must quickly grasp the scope of the AWS platform and deepen their expertise in specific areas.

Your enthusiasm for developing these professionals and propelling them into more advanced roles is essential.

This position focuses on targeted technical marketing initiatives, solution demonstrations, virtual conference presentations, and more.



Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, train, and foster new Solution Architects from various sources.
  • Act as a bridge between customers, service engineering teams, and support.
  • Equip and mentor the team to conduct training sessions, transferring technical knowledge to AWS users.
  • Show dedication to developing entry-level talent.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and consulting on distributed applications, infrastructure architecture, database design, and networking.
  • Manage technical customer-facing resources effectively.
  • Hold a degree in computer science, mathematics, or related fields.
  • Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 4+ years of enterprise IT experience, including 2 years in hands-on software development or DevOps engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience designing/operating cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.).
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience leading and developing teams of senior professionals, preferably in customer-facing positions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in architecting, migrating, or modernizing customer solutions for cloud environments.
